Warrnambool Art Gallery (The WAG)

Established in 1886, the Warrnambool Art Gallery is an attractive modern building in the Warrnambool arts precinct. It houses a diverse collection of works, from elegant European salon paintings to examples of avant-garde modernism from the Angry Penguins.

The gallery's three temporary exhibition spaces present a diverse program of leading Australian artists. The gallery shows major exhibitions rarely seen outside capital cities, but also actively encourages and supports local artists.
