Beach Whale Viewing Platforms is located east of the city area. It is located adjacent to the most popular area for the our whales to play and teach their calves.

Binoculars have been installed on the Whale Viewing Platform allowing for improved viewing of the whales as they cruise Logans Beach!

Every year between June and September, female Southern Right whales return to the waters of Warrnambool’s Logans Beach to calve. They are wild animals so sights will depend upon weather and the whales themselves. Its a great idea to book some accommodation and then make several trips to the viewing platform to get the best viewing.
