Warrnambool of Greatopia

Warrnambool of Greatopia

One of the highlights of the Great Ocean Road is Warrnambool, the city by the sea. Here, there’s a little something to satisfy everyone you’re travelling with.

Eat & Drink

Warrnambool is home to some of the freshest produce you’ll ever have and you’ll be spoilt for choice when trying to decide where to experience it! Myrtle Bar and Kitchen or The Dart & Marlin is where you will want to head if you’re after a meal that you know is going to hit the spot. But for that perfect coffee, it has to be the Rough Diamond, Allee Espresso or Piccolo Coffee Roasters. When you’re ready for those afternoon cocktails to start flowing, check out Frolic Lane and then the Cally or the Hotel Warrnambool for some live music.

Stay

Make the most of your visit and enjoy a touch of luxury whilst you’re in town, because, well, you deserve it! In Warrnambool you have a few choices.

If you are wanting a rejuvenating spa experience then it has to be the Deep Blue Hotel and Hot Springs but if a resort is more your style then head to Lady Bay Resort.

Play

The adventure doesn’t stop there. You will also want to explore Logan’s Beach Whale Viewing Platform, Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum & Village and Hopkins Falls. Not forgetting Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground, the Warrnambool Fresh Market, Warrnambool Art Gallery and the Lighthouse Theatre.

If you are heading further afield there is also the Childers Cove Walk.
