Jayco Herald Sun Tour Live in Warrnambool
For over sixty years, the ‘Sun Tour’ has captured the attention of sports fans throughout Victoria. Riders from around the world compete in the Tour, with past winners including Tour de France champions Chris Froome and Bradley Wiggins, Tour de France sprint champion Baden Cooke, Tour de France stage winners Simon Gerrans and Neil Stephens and many international riders who dominated the event in the 1990’s.

Enjoy a $25 meal deal at Pippies by the Bay followed by FREE entry into the epic Tales of the Shipwreck Coast Sound and Light Show. With an opportunity to meet and hear from Tour stars including John Trevorrow and the ‘Voice of Cycling’ Phil Liggett. Dinner 6.45pm – 8.45pm. Sound & Light Show 8.50pm for 9pm start. BeachFest on the Warrnambool foreshore this summer
Live music, games and fun workshops for the whole family. Activities include:
- Beach Cricket: Get your team together for the big beach bash – all equipment supplied – you just supply the classic catches!
- Kids aquathon: a casual competition with a swim followed by a run.
- Come and try sand sculpting – professional sand sculptors will teach you the secrets of this amazing art form.
- Tunes in the Dunes with the Cheesebrothers – exploring Afro & world beat, hip hop, summer classics and other music from across the globe.
- Silent Disco Walking Tours with Guru Dudu - spontaneous flash mob dancing, hilarious commentary and interpretative dancing around local landmarks.
- Free drumming workshops with Wild Moves - high energy and interactive fun for the whole family.
- Join the revolution of wellness with a yoga class with internationally renowned yoga teacher, Kimberly Erin – yoga mats supplied.
- Plus come n’ try beach netball, surf lessons, beach volley ball, sailing, beach tennis, Ultimate Frisbee and much more.

Fireworks off the Breakwater
Bring in the new year with a bang! Warrnambool will host regional Victoria's biggest New Years Eve fireworks display off the iconic Warrnambool Breakwater at 9.30pm and Midnight.
