The Warrnambool Wanderer Tour takes you to main attractions including the Botanical Gardens, Warrnambool Racecourse – home to The Grand Annual Steeplechase and famous May Race Carnival.

Crossing the Hopkins River, you will venture to Logan’s Beach Southern Right Whale Nursery for some whale watching (June to September) or beach viewing. Another highlight of the Warrnambool Wanderer Tour includes a visit to Gutsy the Wombat who has had a whopping 50 million views on Facebook.

The tour stops at the historical Fletcher Jones Gardens, explore the vintage markets or just take in your surroundings.

The next stop is Thunder Point where you can undertake a short coastal walk. View Middle Island from the boardwalk looking through binoculars see the nesting boxes of the little penguins, ‘is that a penguin?’ Hear the touching story of Oddball, a Maremma Dog that gained international fame by guarding the resident penguin colony you may even spot them relaxing before they start their evening work.

Finally, explore the Warrnambool Breakwater Precinct before returning to the Visitor Centre.
